"I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and came with excellent amenities, including a nice bathtub and a Japanese bidet toilet. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent every day. A special thanks to Ms. Xiao Qing at the reception. "Nice hotel, beautifully decoration in lobby and common areas. Rooms on the small side do Chinese standards, but good enough. Furniture for me was reaching its life limit for me, but comfortable indeed. Short on facilities (just one restaurant) and if you want to have a drink at the bar, the challenge is to find a waiter as they are the same attending the restaurant and they need to run for one end to the other. Waiters however, really nice and helpful"

"We were staying in this property last week and highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a 5 stars experience in Shangri-La Old Town. New modern design, the rooms are so clean, very nice stuffs, and you feel it like home. If you experience altitude sickness, oxygen will be provided in your room. Oxygen cylinders will be provided if you go outside for activities. Shopping and restaurants are near by at walking distance. It is very convenient to stay in this place, we would like to stay here again if we revisit the city in the future. Mr. Fu from Seattle"

"The room was Ok. The hotel staff had an 'I don't care' attitude since its so much in demand hotel. We are pretty sure other hotels around like Judy's Hotel etc. have good accommodations as well. This one had a very cool common terrace with mountain view for all. No breakfast or lunch was included for the high price that we paid"
