"The lobby was beautiful, & Ms. Joy was professional. The room was torn apart as if renovations were being performed prior to our arrival. Our 3 year was playing with air filters she found on the floor. (I immediately took them!) The microwave insides were literally on the table & not in the microwave. Our 3 year found trash in the drawers. (Again, took it from her.) The curtains were broken & hanging & we could NOT close them; therefore, our room was lit up at night. (My wife needs total darkness to sleep.) The towels were old & rough. The pool (indoor & newly renovated) was freezing cold! I attempted to return to our room from complaining at the front desk & my key card did not work! Luckily, my wife was in our room to let me in. We were scheduled for two nights. With everything we encountered, we left the next morning & did breakfast at IHop. (We could NOT afford another disappointment.) We did not enjoy our stay at all! This was our first time visiting Ashboro NC. Poor representation in our opinions."

"Reservation was for handicap room and when ask was told it was. After arriving to room, it was not. Was too tired to complain."

"First room we were given had roaches in the phone and coming out of the crack in the ceiling above the shower. Next room we were given was obviously just cleaned. Was told it was a non-smokering room but there was smoke stains on the walls and doors. Cigarette burns all over the bed sheets and blanket. When asked for an extra blanket, was told that they would bring it to our room if they had an extra one, never came. "

"The room was so dirty furniture was disgusting. Blood on the mattress protecter someone's fake nails were on the floor the refrigerator didnt work the jetted tub and toilet were cracked and dirty. I did ask for a another room being I was only staying the night and the front desk clerk Hannah was very apologetic and moved me to the 3rd floor which was a little better for what I needed. It was so late and weve been driving all day so we sucked it up. But the next morning the lady that was doing breakfast stopped to feed the stray cats catfood from her bare hands petting them and putting the food on the sidewalk by the door to the breakfast area. I saw enough and just left."
