"This place had undergone a huge renovation. We love that it's right on a river and that they have some chairs around to lounge about, you will need bug spray. The bar looked good but we did not try as the prices were high. The indoor and outdoor pool seemed fine, the cabana's are for rent for a 1/2 day or full day. There are chairs you can sit in for free. The location of the hotel is really what keeps us coming back. The AC units were not replaced during the renovation and we were very unhappy with how loud it was and how it cycled on and off all night and day and would wake us up all the time. The rooms made some interesting design choices. It's overall ok, but i would want to try a different style room again as there wasn't really a chair in the room or a place for the luggage or a dresser. The price for what you get is high, but it's the cape in the summer."

"The motel is an older facility that most likely has been renovated and well maintained. It is very clean. The room was spotless, Bathrooms spotless and good hot water with good pressure. Beds (we got the 2 twins) were medium in firmness, comfortable. No problems with room temp. The indoor pool area, pool and hot tub were very clean and enjoyable. The gym has several cardio machines, a few dumbbells and bench and a budget universal type machine. It was fine. They have an arcade (we looked but did not use) and the instructions are on the wall before you enter the room, It is a minimum of $25 on your card. That should give someone or a couple a bit of playtime. The breakfast dining area was very clean. My wife has an eye for those things and nothing bothered her and that was a huge benefit. The breakfast had a reasonable amount of choices. This is not an AA breakfast but I ate, it was fine and I was filled. Massachusetts has a $12 tax you have to pay and the motel has a $50 (pending only) fee I guess incase you damage the room or do not return the electronic keys (which we had no problem with) They put $62 on my CC on our arrival the 3rd; we left the 4th. On the 5th a $12 charge went onto my CC. I called and was told the $62 was pending only and by the 7th, only the $12 charge was on my CC. I would happily stay there again. -CD"
