This hotel is one of the best in the world. The rooms are very comfortable with great bathrooms and lovely amenities. The food in the restaurants is excellent. What really makes this hotel great is the service, it’s off the charts!! We will stay here again and again.

The stay was part of a trip with my three children age 18-24. The hotel has quite recently gone through a major renovation and feels like new. It was an amazing hotel with attention to details in many ways. I had my laptop open by the desk and they have put a screen cleaner next to it when I got back to the room. The room was cleaned spotless everyday. Love Indian food but the highlight was the Chinese restaurant Baoshuan. One of our best dining experience through our 8 days in India. The pool area was like an oasis, but lot of insects, but that is nature. I missed a decent SPA area With hot whirlpool etc. but the massage was great. Overall a true 5 star hotel. At least as good as any Four Season, but maybe with a bit more personal touch. Stayed at the Lodhi as well. Our family of four was split half half when amsing which hotel was the best. Lodhi wasn’t as new, but they were more personal. Remembered our names everywhere. When coming to the breakfast, remembered what we had ordered the last morning and eg knew what kind of coffee we wanted, etc. The rooms were bigger at Lodhi but Oberoi had an amazing view, especially if you get a room not on on the lower level. Pool area was nicer in Lodhi. Less insects. Overall, I would have picked Oberoi while two of my children The Lodhi.

This was my best stay during the 5 week trip to India in terms of staff quality, professionalism and responsiveness. Of particular note, the GM Panshikar, Dilli Restaurant Manager, Ms Wagh and the Chef Sagar were standout in terms of being responsive to my requests and dietary preferences. The breakfast staff too was very attentive without being intrusive. The rooms were clean, well appointed (special kudos to whomever decided on selection of carpet slippers -- they were the best I have ever seen), and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were really nice. I particularly liked the bottles designs (for shampoo, soap etc). Will I book again? In a heartbeat!!

Just finished a wonderful stay at the Oberoi Hotel in Delhi. First class service all the way . All staff is courteous and helpful and hotel is immaculately clean. We tried all of the restaurants, bars and the Patisserie downstairs and all were wonderful in terms of food and drink quality and selection. If I had to find any fault it would be with the bedding. I found the sheets did not stay in place well and the bedspread was too heavy and felt old and dusty. Without it the comforter was too thin and i felt cold . Also the drinks we ordered at the pool took way too long to come out, almost half an hour for 2 gin and tonics. Other than that it was a beautiful stay . ;-)

I liked the Oberoi overall… fantastic ambiance, it has charm and art, stylish and business minded… breakfast was excellent… if I had to change something it would be access to funds… an ATM that didn’t give sufficient funds… they had a cashier that can only withdrawal 5000 INR for the entire stay!… definitely need better access to getting funds… if you have have cash to exchange then your good… I like to tip good service…so wanted to do more… other than that, it’s a great experience and will definitely come back when I visit again

When I checked out and paid for invoice , after while I realized that I get charged for restaurant which I didn’t eat. I told the staff and they pull it the receipt.
