"Room was comfortable but bathroom small and vanity a bit cramped. Found several hairs in tub, but otherwise clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Not sure why the breakfast was highly rated as we felt the quality and variety was minimal. Not even up to chain hotel (Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn and Hilton) level. Minimal fruit , no cereal except gloppy oatmeal and packaged muffins. Same scrambled eggs and pancakes each day. Could definitely use an upgrade there. Nice location looking out over the lake with the buildings in good condition considering the age. Plenty of parking. Not the highest quality, but worth the price"

"The views of the Smoky Mountains were spectacular! The condo was very clean and fairly well equipped with almost all of the necessary amenities. Carpet, while clean was buckled in places. The door to the balcony couldn’t be opened due to faulty mechanism in the door handle, furniture and flooring is dated but okay and an excusable tradeoff for the views, road leading up to the resort was treacherous at night due to no painted stripes along the edges and in the middle. Very reasonably priced and worth every penny of the views. Front office was not open the hours of operation listed. The pool and hot tub were inside and not very inviting."

"This place is a fantastic find. No hassle, friendly staff. It's an older property that is well maintained. The room was amazingly clean. The floors are hardwood and ceramic tile, so there are no places for bugs or Bionics to hide. The water pressure in the show will blow the hair off your back :-). This will be my go-to place at Maggie Valley from now on."
