"Great hotel if you’re attending the Del Mar horse races. It’s across the street and the property was big and beautiful and nice large rooms. Parts of property were outdated but overall it was a great place to stay and friendly staff. "

"I refer to the restaurant as the "Chum Bucket". It is a small afterthought aside from the lobby. The place has maybe a smaller menu than a Del Mar roach coach."

"The room was cute, clean, and very comfortable for our 3 night stay. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and although there is construction going on we weren't affected by it at all. We didn't pay to park in the garage spaces underneath the hotel, but didn't have any problem finding street parking. The location is fantastic - located in a quieter area just steps from multiple beach parks, cute restaurants, and a short drive from anything else we wanted to go to."

"We did not have a direct view of the beach, we had a side view, but you still can not beat the area and ease of getting down to the beach. You only have to walk a short distance to get the view you desire. The pool was nice and has a wonderful view of the ocean. There is work being done on the railroad tracks but it did not bother us, it did obstruct the views from the lower units that would normally have a direct view of the ocean"
