"We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. This was a lovely hotel, with a nice atmosphere. However. We were disappointed with the food offering. We had dinner both nights, the burger and chips were just nice, and quite basic. The chicken pie was not chicken! , struggled to find the chicken. The potatoes and gravy, sauce, were puréed. We were not sure whether to use a knife and fork, or a soup spoon! Please can the chef reconsider puréed food, it seems a lazy way to serve a dinner .However, we do have a sense of humour with most things, and really found the funny side!"
