"The Marquis has just completed renovations, and while there were a few teething problems, the staff was wonderful. They could not have done more to make our stay wonderful. Special shout out to David, Ryann, Lucy, Emma, Kate, Annabelle, Carmin, and everyone else we came in contact with, all were wonderful.
The spa and
pool were not even mentioned as they just opened, the facility is one of the best we ever visited, again with the staff to match.
We are looking forward to our next stay."

"We really enjoyed the fabulous building and grounds, the freshly-cooked cooked breakfast options with excellent coffee, the helpful staff, the room toiletries and tea/coffee and bottled water, the soft bed linens, the quiet rooms.
The restaurant lacks a little atmosphere as it has been updated in a style that doesn’t quite match the building, in my view. Add some antique weapons on the walls, maybe? 😉
The swimming
pool was a little chilly for leisure but fine for swimming - we assume they are...

Business trip would definitely stay again.
"This was a business trip, I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the air conditioning. During my stay they were having extensive building works carried out but I have to say it was seamless for me. I heard no noise whatsoever as it was all done whilst I was at work. The only issue was there were less car parking spaces but the work men were very accommodating as well. I literally went out one day and came back and the old restaurant had been blocked off and a new one opened. The staff were even really kind in helping me enquire about some pictures I had been admiring on the wall in the morning! All the staff were really helpful and kind and at one point a huge bus party of European tourists arrived, one member of staff was trying to sort out access and she did it so patiently making sure everyone's needs were met. I'm sure that the disruptions were difficult for the staff but it did not affect me at all. There is a lovely outside space where you can sit by the river and have a drink or a bite to eat, the Korean Chicken bites were to die for I had them three nights running. I would definitely stay here again. I am looking forward to seeing it all finished."
