Lovely hotel to stay in with or without your dog. A short walk to the beach and to the village of De Koog with shops and restaurants etc. The chef at breakfast was fantastic and was able to cater for our coeliac daughter - a big thank you to him! There was the option to eat breakfast and other meals in the cosy and bright bar / lounge area if you wanted to keep your dog with you, rather than eating in the restaurant. This was great for us because our rescue dog would have been very nervous staying in the hotel room alone, so otherwise we would have had to split our family in half to eat breakfast. It meant we could all be together to enjoy meals which was brilliant! We will definitely return - very nice hotel!

Het is een heel fijn hotel met een prachtige lokatie! Bij lunch en diner ging echter veel mis: (echt) koude soep, koude tosti’s, thee ging om. Bij diner tot drie keer toe verkeerde drankjes bezorgd. De kamer is prima, wel hele hoge kussens. De kamer rook niet fris, rook naar natte hond en lucht was er na een dag niet uit. Wel schoon overigens. We komen zeker terug maar er zijn wel wat verbeterpunten.

Prima kamer op een mooie plek. Zwembad is leuk. Strand is op loopafstand. Ontbijt is goed. Alleen de glazen zagen er heel vies uit. Waarschijnlijk waren het krassen van ouderdom, dat is het enige negatieve.

Mooi hotel van binnen maar buitenkant een beetje vervallen. Mooie ruime kamer, schoon, mooi ingericht. Prima ontbijt. Lief personeel. Alleen amper parkeerplek waardoor je elders (betaald) moet parkeren. Verder Echt een aanrader!

Niet alle kamers hebben functionerende airco. Hier kwamen we achter na inchecken. In eerste instantie was dit “toeval” en zogenaamd volgeboekt dus andere kamer niet mogelijk maar na aandringen kregen we toch een andere prima kamer. Omdat de uiteindelijke oplossing toereikend was 4 sterren.

Als persoon alleen kreeg ik ook een eenpersoonskamer. Deze is heel klein en de tv deed het niet. Het bed was heel goed, de kamer was schoon maar verder qua uitstraling weinig luxe.
