Too Hot - Air Conditioning Problems

The hotel is set up so that the A/C doesn't turn on until you put your key in a slot. It was 40C or 104 F outside and inside. The room took all night to cool down to 24C or 75F by which time we had to check out. I did not get value for money nor would the staff correct the problem. I wouldn't stay again! Darwin is nearly always HOT and Humid. This set up is stupid for this climate!
