"Not enough food we came down at 8:30 most of the breakfast items were gone. It was a long line for one waffle machine ended up passing on that and no hot water for tea. Our air conditioner in the room was broken, the staff offered to change our room. we were already undressed and getting into bed. we had a long day travel from Florida. The managing staff was very kind about adding 15, 000 points to my choice rewards for the inconveniences of a room with no ventilation or air. "

"I booked this room for what I was hoping to be a nice quiet weekend get away for my elderly mother and it was not!! First, this property is very dated. Upon arrival there were people sitting in their car in the parking lot across from my mother’s room and I felt a little unsafe. When we got inside the room the tub looked dirty and the TV was not working properly(bottom part of the screen discolored.) I called the front desk to report the TV not working and the front desk worker told me that someone will come tomorrow and either switch the TV out or they will switch my mother‘s room in the morning. This never happened !!! There was loud noise in the room above my mom’s room that night and the following morning there was loud noise happening outside. My mother called the front desk and complained about the noise and when the front desk worker came to my mother’s room, he said that he would call my mother to change her room out later that afternoon once they cleaned the rooms. Again, this never happened. The staff lied and did little to make my mother stay better. If you can afford to please don't book here!!"

"I appreciated the vintage charm and keeping with the history of the Howard Johnson. That made it fun. The room was a good size and pretty clean but it was missing some of the finishes that are nice to have; the sheets were kind of scratchy, the tub was shiny clean but had some bubbling of the coating which freaked me out when I thought I was stepping on something and getting around was a little confusing. Overall though, it was a decent place for sleep and a shower that didn’t break the bank."
