"This hotel is fine - for a cheap get away it’s definitely worth it. However standard of cleaning is really quite poor; it’s just a bit grubby in places - bed does feel clean and think that’s the most important part for me. But walls and side tables just need a good wipe down. Hot water wasn’t available a few of the nights we did ask but the response was that it was a cloudy day. "The room was clean, but poorly designed. We were in our room and could not use the closet or dresser because the doors don't open because the bed was in the way. Our family members stayed in a different room and had a totally different tv then ours and channels. They had a smart tv, and we had a computer screen. "We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable.
