"Good location and well kept hotel "

"Hele fijne stop voor op doorreis. Het is schoon maar wel gedateerd. Het ontbijt is super met veel aandacht van de gastvrouw voor ons. Erg netjes en verzorgd ontbijt. "

"The best thing about this hotel is its location, The room I have is very noisy, the bed was tidy and clean but not comfortable. I booked a room for £125 online but ended up paying £135 at the hotel as the owner has his own change rate. will never stay there again."

"I didnt receive the check in email. When I call them, instead of sending the mail they tried to help me with a long bad communicated phone talk. There is no one else to help you. Its a ghost hotel. And rooms are worse than pictures and smell so bad. It says private bathroom but wc is on corridor. So tecnically its true but misleading. My advise would be paying 25 euro train ticket and going to Prague instead of staying here"

"Good value for the centre of Salzburg"

"Apparent is in an old building so as is expected it needs some updates. However it was clean which makes a difference. The issue was with the air conditioner that wasn’t cooling, the fan was on but there wasn’t any cold air. Also, hot water is limited. After my kids took a shower me and my husband were left with luke warm, almost cold water. Nice and available owner."

"It was everything I had hoped it would be as I was looking for an authentic Austrian hotel and not some big, corporate hotel chain."

"Really difficult to find. The address advertised is incomplete. We messaged and called but no answer. We walked for ages and got lucky when we found a place with a similar name who's owner had redirected many other guests looking for the same place. Once we'd found the place, the self check in was simple. In future, we'll pay a little more and not suffer. Google maps doesnt list the place and there's no signs above the door, so even when you have found it, you still can't be certain."

"The area is really quiet. A little far from the city center but easy acess via public transport. Clean and spacious."

"Super “charming” and quaint. Not for everyone. My family were not impressed. However, I grew up poor so Haus Wartenburg was like a palace to me. There’s so much potential here. If I had a few million euros….."
