The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
8/10 Good
"Room was very neat and clean. Only improvement needed would be directions to turning on the fan and a list of television channels. Over a great experience. We will definitely come again"

Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great Beachfront Stay with Fantastic Dining! We had a wonderful stay at the Tides Hotel over memorial day weekend and would absolutely come back. The location is unbeatable, sitting right on the beach. You are only steps away from the sand and surrounded by tons of great local food options. Here are the highlights from our trip: Amazing Dining: Pinkies restaurant is a must-visit. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was incredibly amazing and welcoming. Beach Conveniences: You can easily rent comfortable chairs right on the beach for a relaxing day by the water. Spotless Property: The entire property is kept very clean and well-maintained. Clean Bathrooms: The bathrooms in our room were spotless. A few minor things to note: the elevators can be a little slow during peak times, and the rooms themselves could use a little bit of love and updating. Our AC also had a small leak, but the overall cleanliness and prime location more than made up for it. We highly recommend this hotel for a fun beach getaway!"

"Didn’t clean the room the next day, I thought the breakfast could have been a little better and I felt the room was a little over priced"

"Staff was very helpful. And rooms were clean and updated."

Cambria Hotel Mount Pleasant – Charleston
6/10 Okay
"Reception was rude. Had to ask for Expedia perks. Half bottle of wine not a full bottle. Lumpy bed. No water pressure. "

Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant by IHG
8/10 Good
"Decent hotel little run down. Coffee was strongest ever! Staff nice enough, AC didn’t remove humidity and water temperatures were all over the place."

The Francis Marion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Simply elegant. Treat yourself to a stay. At the very least, eat a meal at the Swamp Fox and enjoy the she-crab soup and shrimp & grits for me."

Seaside Inn Oceanfront

"Attitude was a real deal breaker for us. After arriving to our room we discovered the lights were out for 3/4 of the room - particularly troublesome for the bathroom. Went to front desk and waited about 20 min for someone to come and check out what we assumed to be a fuse issue. Another 20 min and problem is not resolved. Go to the desk to get an update and Miss Attitude is very sassy despite the patience and respect we afforded her. We had been on the beach all day and wanted to shower and head out for an anniversary dinner. Suggested maybe we could relocate to a new room… She was resistant to the idea and we went back to the room to wait longer. Meanwhile I had dropped ice on the floor and used a washcloth to clean it up and the floor was filthy! Imagine if I had lights to actually see… 15 min pass and a much nicer staff member came & gave us the code to a new room. The new room was newly renovated and a much better, cleaner accommodation. Wondering if bc we booked thru Expedia we were given a tired, old room bc the resort was very quiet and you would think they’d want to impress guests by assigning the newer rooms. Unfortunately the lack of professionalism by the front desk and the filthy floor in the first unit will deter us from visiting this resort in the future. Plenty of nearby choices"
