Cambria Hotel Mount Pleasant – Charleston
10/10 Excellent
"This is one of the cleaner hotels in mt. pleasant that I have stayed at. The staff is friendly and it’s a very convenient location."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview
10/10 Excellent

Emeline
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Hotel Emeline to celebrate our anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and perfectly located for exploring Charleston on foot. Our room was elegant, the bathroom was gorgeous (even down to the Kohler fixtures), and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in—we looked forward to coming back to it every evening after exploring the city. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the people. Every employee we encountered embodied genuine Southern hospitality. From the thoughtful check-in experience to the friendly housekeeping staff and bartenders who made us feel like regulars, the service was consistently exceptional. The hotel even provides thoughtful touches like complimentary reusable glass water bottles for guests to take while exploring the city and drink vouchers for their sister property. The moment that made us lifelong fans happened after checkout. I accidentally left my jacket in the lobby and didn’t realize it until we were already at the airport. We called expecting to pay to have it shipped home, but instead, a staff member personally drove my jacket to the airport—nearly a 30-minute drive—so I could have it before our flight. She even refused to accept a tip. That level of kindness and care is something you simply don’t see anymore. Hotel Emeline made our anniversary feel truly special, and we’ll absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Charleston."

The Francis Marion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We loved that it’s located in the middle of King Street!"

Indigo Inn
8/10 Good
"The Indigo Inn is a charming boutique hotel in downtown Charleston, with a pleasant staff, a nice set of amenities (happy hour and continental breakfast), and easy walking to nearly every place downtown."

The Vendue
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely but they have 2 separate buildings."

The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were amazing and welcoming. Everything was clean and well maintained. I had a great stay! I stayed for two nights, and even though the weather didn’t cooperate, it didn’t take away from the experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel
8/10 Good
"This hotel has great views and spacious rooms. As is typical of beach hotels, it's a bit worn in areas because the sun and moisture take their tolls, but the property is well maintained. The restaurant, Pinky's, had great food and atmosphere. The king bed was not as comfortable as some big chain hotels but there was ample pillows and blankets for the third person using the sofa bed. The only other downside is that the balcony cannot accommodate a small chair or two, but the view makes up for the lack of seating."

Drury Plaza Hotel North Charleston
10/10 Excellent
"Staff at this location really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and just make your day better. They were friendly and personable but not pushy."
