"Really disappointed in the hotel. The exterior was run down and the interior was worse. Peeling paint and papers on the stairs, mould on the bathroom tiles, peeling and damp paint round the windows. "Room was small but clean and functional. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. Service could have been a bit quicker. Reception staff were friendly, chatty and welcoming. Bar looked nice but unfortunately didn't have a chance to visit. Location in Oban was very good and central."

"The Good: Great location! Really amazing view. Very roomy. Very pretty. Pub at the bottoms of the steps is superb. The Bad: Don’t book in the summer.
