"You can see the improvements being made. Some of the clientele are sketchy, but they did a great job of keeping things under control. Rooms were great and clean!!"

"The walls are paper thin. We had to listen to our neighbor's TV until past 11 PM. Then, their alarms went off 4 times starting at 5 AM. This motel is very basic. The room was clean but the furniture is stained and dated. Breakfast was decent and comparable to Marriott Residence inn or Fairfield."

"We really enjoyed the Elwood for a two night trip with a dog, to visit family. We stayed in a Signature two room suite. The rooms were open and bright, and plenty of space. The building was conveniently located, with plenty of food options close by, but we also enjoyed the restaurant and bar on property. There was a nice outdoor patio that we didn’t use, because of heat, but we would have used it in fair weather. There was an outdoor pet area with clean up bags, disposal and plenty of grass. Staff were all very helpful, and represented the hotel well. We would definitely stay at the Elwood again."

"The hotel property and room was very clean. It had a very nice and inviting hotel lobby environment. The breakfast was exceptional and had many nutritious offerings to satisfy any appetite. The hotel staff was very friendly and hospitable to any needs I had. I will definitely consider staying again when back in the area."
