"This was an emergency stop over for me as I needed a break and sleep. Mattress was not very comfortable at all the bedroom was tidy and clean. Breakfast choice was either McDonald’s or Costa heated sandwich …not exactly what I would class as a breakfast and being a motorway service station everything was excessively expensive as well. but as I said, this was an emergency night stay and it served its purpose perfectly for me."

"The whole experience of stay at the White Horse Inn in Exford was very impressive. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was of a really good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying."

"In a single room it didn’t feel I was treated the same as friends and family staying in double or family rooms. It was clean and adequate but not special. Breakfast buffet bacon and eggs first morning was not hot but there are freshly cooked alternatives. Evening menu was limited and not great although the hotel seemed half empty so I think the main restaurant was not open. Staff were generally very pleasant and helpful although one waitress spilled milk on my table said sorry but made no attempt to clear it up. Small things that leave an impression. Overall a nice historic hotel and very convenient location let down by small issues. "
