The Atrium Beach Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort
10/10 Excellent
"All the staff here are amazing! So kind and helpful. We had an issue with the room assigned to us so we had to go back down to the check in to advise them of the issue (we weren’t complaining or asking for anything, but they immediately upgraded us!). If you stay here, definitely try and get an ocean front view. The views are lovely, the beach is right there! All rooms are equipped with a full kitchen, which we made use of as there are a few nearby grocery stores where you can get food/snacks etc.
The staff provided us with helpful tips/places to go, and about the bus routes.
There is a small pool, but since the beach is literally at your feet, it’s not an issue. Designated beach chairs/umbrellas for our hotel meant we never had to search for them. We never had issues with getting one when we wanted.
Multiple restaurants/bars are in walking distance. The bus stops a short walk away.
A great location with great staff!"
"Pool area by seaside grill was perfect for kids and the little beach bay area behind was also great - safe, good for snorkeling for little kids!
Food was overall good. Pizza is a must! Bfast buffet was good also.
Some staff were friendly, but overall not as friendly as other resorts.
Ordered a king size bed and didn’t get it. Feel like we really weren’t given a good room, but location across seaside grill worked out.
Good grocery shop onsite. Friendly staff at the aqua sports shack.
Free easy parking."
"I got the deluxe suit with the ocean view and the room was beautiful with a perfect view of the ocean and a nice kitchen set with everything you needs. The staff were absolutely so kind and helpful, the bar had 2 different happy hours throughout the day. The pool was big enough for many people and the view was just breathtaking. They have a supermarket up the block from the resort and many different places to eat 3 blocks away. So many actives to do. We stayed at the resort for 8 days and everyday there was something to do, everyone we met as staff was giving so much good vibes. The best part too is you don’t even need to leave the resort because they have a personal supermarket downstairs from the lobby, gym and spa with a salon. I would definitely recommend that place to family members and friends."
Sonesta Ocean Point All Inclusive, Adults Only Resort
10/10 Excellent
"One of the best resorts I have been at so far. My room was really nice, amazing views and the staff were excellent. The location of the property is in the center of everything. I would like to also shout of the bartender Damien. He was by far one of the best bartenders. He made everyone laugh and he kept our cups full. He definitely made the stay there very pleasant"
"My stay at this resort saved my trip. I booked at this property last minute after a terrible one-night stay at another property and it was the best decision. Being welcomed to a beautiful big lobby with views of the marina and a dedicated Expedia check-in line was very special.
I was greeted by Josephine (Concierge) and Marcel (Property Manager) who went above and beyond to make my check in process smooth and quick. Josephine truly embodies customer service by her thoughtfulness. She went out of her way to assist with getting me a car rental and even asked how I was doing when I ran into her at the carnival village. Marcel made it a point to say goodbye during my checkout and enquire about my stay. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and really pleasant. This is a well operated property and I look forward to returning. My thanks to everyone for contributing to an amazing first visit to the island.
My only recommendation for the rooms would be to add a full length mirror. Other than that, the room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. "
