"Easy to drive to the hotel. The room was great - quite plush. We stayed in the modern part. Bar and restaurant area was fun. Music at dinner could have just been a recording. The band was uninspiring. The food was incredibly salty. My wife had to return her fish dish because it was too salty to eat. My steak was also very salty. Breakfast was a bit lightweight, but the poached eggs were the best we had tried all week at various other hotels. Staff were all very kind."

"I have stayed half a dozen times, yes It is a wedding venue but even with a wedding on, it is so well insulated that there is no noise in the bedrooms at all, and the wedding is isolated from the main areas you use, Central location, good food, helpful staff, and a good breakfast and good value, no downsides in my opinion."
