"Very helpful and pleasant staff. They made us feel extra special and took care of all our necessities.
Highly recommend people stay in this place due to the staff and surroundings"
"I really enjoyed my stay the double bed suite was nice and clean and spacious. The only thing that disturbed me was at 12:30 at night a group of girls was fighting in the hallway rite at my room door woke me and granddaughters up I tired calling front desk over and over again but didn't get a answer.i was scared to open my door but was looking out the peep hole mace had been sprayed in one of the young ladies face this was earlier Sunday morning 7-5-2026 other than that my stay was okay. When in town again I would stay here oh yeah and breakfast was awesome 👍 up."
"Beautiful clean rooms and lobby. Well positioned on the river / riverwalk with excellent views of the boats and July 4th fireworks steps away. Very nicely decorated room and bath (above average for sure). Comfortable beds and quiet. We did not take advantage of the restaurant on site.
For families, I'd say it's not the greatest; no pool in the middle of summer in NC is a big downside. There's note really a lot of room in the lobby or common areas to hang out.
If you want a very well appointed room that's quite without standard vacationers (didn't see a lot of families or little kids, maybe because of the higher standard room rate), this is the place to go."
"I like this hotel and I will return for the next event. The staff was great the lobby and pool area were great, I was disappointed with the room somewhat. So the water in the sink was going down slowly, not sure why. To be fair I did not alert the staff. The room had a big empty space, I’m guessing some type of sofa chair. All we had was a desk chair. The iron messed up my white shirt. The shower up top you can see it was plastered, but not painted. We also had to put a towel in the tub because it was slippery. I didn’t eat breakfast, but my daughter did and she didn’t like it. As I said those are not deal breakers for me, they just need to do a little maintenance."
"This property is nice, but shows a bit of age. Great location on the waterfront, friendly staff. The room was clean except for an unfortunate stain on the couch. The public areas such as elevators and stairwells needed some cleaning. The pool is very nice. Easy walk to the restaurants in the historic downtown."
"I was impressed right away with this place. Check-in was easy. The staff was very friendly. And then when I got into my room, it smelled so fresh and good. Probably the first time I ever checked into a hotel room and it didn't have that hotel smell, but the stay was awesome and the pool was awesome and the breakfast was really good. I definitely would stay there again."
