"Very good location. Good access to restaurants for dinner and beach bars for lunch. Breakfast was fine. Rooms are clean. Water is not drinkable and sometimes smells. Property is very strict, only 1 espresso pod per person per night. Only one beach towel and it needs to be exchanged via towel card. Also no outside food or drinks on the beach chairs. The ocean view rooms, ocean view is marjinal."

"Great property with a beautiful view of the hills from a picturesque sun deck. The sun deck on the first floor also includes a heated, well lit pool which is available for use all day long, beach chairs, a fully equipped kitchen(limited use) and a corner nook in case you wanna hang out by the pool but stay out of the sun at the same time. The property is very clean and well secured with parking included. My room was spacious and included an enclosed private deck with a patio in case you want to step outdoors without leaving your room. The house has a great advantage of being in a quiet area away from the busy main streets and noise of the city. The host was also very nice and accommodating and made himself available at practically all times in case there was any questions. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip. "

"This was our first time staying on the French side, at Esmeralda. Overall, it is a decent resort; it consists of small villages, each containing four guest rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and every village shares a swimming pool among its four units. The resort grounds feature a French restaurant serving very delicious food. Another nice perk is that the resort has its own private beach area, for which you can make reservations. There is a designated parking spot right next to your village, which is very convenient. Now, for the things we didn't like: First, beach towels are issued only at the reception desk, which is located quite far from the beach itself; if you need to exchange a towel, you have to walk all the way back to reception. Second, regarding the "included breakfast": in reality, it does not correspond to a "continental breakfast" as we understand it in the American sense. The breakfast offering consists of coffee, a small croissant, and jam, along with one type of cereal and a yogurt-like product that tastes more like sour cream. There is no cream cheese, no eggs—nothing of the sort; you have to pay extra for all of those items. We have stayed on the Dutch side many times, and the included continental breakfast there was a completely different experience. Third, beach reservations must be made either at the reception desk or directly at the beach itself. We made our reservation immediately upon arrival"

"Amazing/unusual exclusive six room tiny boutique AND unique property. Small two car pull off leads to a rather off putting entrance with ‘reception’ the size of your downstairs loo ! Our large room had a kitchenette : enormous bed : air con : 100% private terrace with sun loungers : shower room : separate loo : private 12ft x 6ft Jacuzzi type pool ; and a glorious view. Huge breakfast delivered to the room on demand daily. Private motor boat (included) a 10 minute transfer to/from an island (Pinel) starting a short walk down hill. Sunloungers/umbrella provided foc and lunch available : paid for. Return motor boat again foc. Great day ! Zappy small town a short cab journey away from the hotel for bars/restaurants/cafes in Grand Case (Keys). Very French feel. Get in the mood and you’ll love this place. "
