Hotels with Swimming Pool in Crystal Lake, Lakeland

"Don't be fooled by the glossy photos online. I don't know how this hotel achieved its 3 stars. The reception and lobby area were very nice as pictured, but the room was terrible (119). The worst aspect was the appearance of what we believe were cockroaches which made everything else seem worse. The beds were noisy with worn out headboards and had soggy mattresses. The bathroom was grubby and tired. The Hotel is right next to a busy road so there was a lot of noise, added to by the barking dogs in an adjacent room and someone talking loudly on a phone outside our door at around 4:45 am. The breakfast was handed out in individual bags containing Muffins, Cereal Bars and Porridge. In addition, there was no hot food or toast available, only cereals, fruit juice and hot drinks. On this trip we stayed in9 different hotels and we rated this one 9th."

"Only one elevator working with a limit of only five people on an elevator. It took 15 minutes to get from fifth floor to ground floor in the morning of our checkout for these reason reasons then, when went to checkout had to wait as there as no staff at the front desk. "

"This place is run by an offsite group. The staff can’t do anything but ask someone offsite for what they’re supposed to do next. Totally misrepresented on website. Run down doesn’t begin to describe this place. Was told I would receive refund for all but first night after trying to check in and rejecting to stay there. Haven’t received a dime to date. Don’t walk, run away from this place."
