"No frills but good location. I just needed a bed and shower during a trip to see a concert at the nearby De Montfort Hall. It's a great location for that, less than 5mins walk, also near plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. It's cheap so I didn't expect much. The room and toilet/shower was basic but clean. There were no curtains, just blinds...so in the summer and with a heat wave it was quite unbearable. There's an electronic lock on the room doors but not on the main outside door so anyone...

"The property is lovely and well maintained. All members of staff where pleasant. Our room was very clean. It was classed as a suite, but I'm not sure it really was. It had two areas to it, but very basic. The air con didn't work that well which was a shame given the weather was very hot. Other than that it is worth a stay."

"Excellent functional hotel in the heart of Nottingham. Lace Market car park is opposite the hotel and there is a discount to normal prices by validating in hotel reception. Location of the hotel is literally 2 minutes from an area full of retail and bars/restaurants. We have previously stayed slightly outside city centre but this was a real find. Rooms were spacious and clean with decent bathroom/shower. Bar area is welcoming and serves pizza and drinks 24/7. Excellent buffet breakfast very competitively priced. All round a really great stopover. We were in town for a concert at Bodega which is 2 minutes walk away."

"Had a nice stay here, the staff were all very friendly and polite, and the hotel is clean. We enjoyed the swimming pool and Hot tub, my only gripe was, it was a very hot night and the room didnt have Aircon, but did have a fan which helped take the edge off. All in all we had a good time and would visit again. A plus was free ice cream and cool refreshing Lemon Water which was a self service in reception, although this might be related to the Hot Weather."

"Hotel was nice, a big entrance leading into a big bar and seating area which was a bit busy and loud at times when lots of people. Room was clean and spacious and great choices for breakfast, again very spacious. A convenient stay but felt this was more suited for business meetings and conference gatherings rather than a typical run of the mill hotels."
