"Great location…25 steps to Bangor train station. Friendly warm staff. Authentic Thai food available in their restaurant.Downstairs bar had small groups of friendly easygoing young crowd (not loud or unpleasant) Owner Ms. Su is actively committed to her business and is available to guests for compliments or complaints. Local busses leave within one to 4 blocks for various locations including Snowdonia."

"Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. Only improvement is the quality of the packed lunches, which were a little uninspiring for £12.50!"

"Wonderful location inside the old medieval wall! Steps from the Carnarvon Castle! Nice bar(s) and seating areas inside and out. On the other hand why would they put a senior on the third floor with no elevator?!! Shower drain was clogged but maintenance did fix that after I brought it to their attention. The biggest issue was the unseasonable heat. No A/C in these old hotels and the top floor was unbearable hot. All I had was a small 10 inch fan which was all but useless. Come on guys! Put some bigger fans on those top floor rooms! I’d stay there again, only on the condition of a ground floor room."

"Very nice hotel that I will return to on my next visit to Caernarfon. Lots of on site parking, and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I arrived at the same time as a coach party, but the reception staff made sure I didn't have to wait. The room was very clean with lots of space and a good sized clean bathroom. It took a while to work out the light switches to turn on the bathroom light without all the other lights, but not a huge problem. Excellent hotel that I would recommend to friends and family."
