"Villa Appiani is at a great location to get to center of Florence without being right in the center of it. It's a quite location where you can relax after a day of sightseeing and they have a great resturant. Also they provide shuttle service to the entrance of Florence at no extra cost. It's a bit of a walk but worth it. They have two drop off locations close to Florence or midway at another popular sightseeing stop. "This property is very well managed, has excellent staff and Sarah was most kind in showing us rooms and recommending restaurants. The breakfast was outstanding as was the service provided. The only issue is there is no signage and with adjacent property under construction we initial thought hotel was closed. "
