Top Crater Lake Hotel Reviews

Union Creek Resort

Union Creek Resort

8/10 Good
"We really enjoyed our stay in the historic cabins. Managing expectations is key to staying here - there is no cell and extremely limited WiFi, and the cabins are old with unlevel floors, antique kitchenettes and extremely tiny and outdated bathrooms (although from the photos it appears we may have been in an unrenovated cabin). The nearby restaurant is basic but good, which is fortunate because options in the area are limited. Everything was clean and functional and we especially appreciated the window AC due to the heat wave."

Crater Lake Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent site with a variety of options to suit different people and different group sizes. This was our first time glamping and the tent and bed were excellent. It can get really cold at night even in August so be aware. Shop was well stocked, if you are in a tent you really need to self cater, as nearest options are in Chiloquin and they are not great. Casino restaurant is an option. Site set up is beautiful and very relaxing just to sit and watch the birds and the creek with a beverage or two. Easy access to the National Park. Note that shop is only open 10-6, so get breakfast needs organized day before! Would recommend and plan to come again next time we come to Crater Lake"

8/10 Good
"I planned a trip to Carter Lake late in the process and all hotels closer to the lake were booked. It was about a 30-minute drive to Crater Lake from this hotel, which was not a problem for me. The hotel is older with few amenities, but it is clean and safe. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was fine for me."

10/10 Excellent
"The property was great! Very clean, nice breakfast, good access to water for our water bottles, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fitness center. Wish the staff could have accommodated a cheaper second room for us (when my first night with my snoring mom was a trial :)); it was a bit of a bummer to be told I needed to pay max rates when the hotel still had 15% capacity left and I’d already paid for another room… but that’s the way it goes during peak season, I guess! Otherwise, great stay."
