Upon our arrival at the hotel we realize that there is no reservation in our name. The girl from the restaurant inside the hotel, very kind and helpful, calls the hotel manager to understand and after some time and after having changed the room to a couple who had been placed in our room we manage to enter. The room to be a triple was very small and without air conditioning. The country is nice if you want to be quiet. Thanks only to the girl from the restaurant for her availability and for having apologized several times, not hitting anything, otherwise disorganizing the right word

Great Food in a Gasthaus Setting

The Hotel au Boeuf Rouge is a charming Gasthaus style hotel. It has a wonderful outside restaurant/terrace canopied by pruned sycamore trees. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. It does not have an elevator or air conditioning. So, this wouldn't be an ideal spot for handicapped people.

Au Boeuf Rouge is based in a small town Crassier and it is a very local friendly place. The service was very prompt and very helpful. if you want a business hotel this is not the place but to have a place that is like staying at home and low key then this is right for you.

This hotel is in a small village, but its noisy if you leave your window open. There is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Sunday night they had live music. Service was OK. Breakfast was good. Only 15 minutes from Geneva, but price is too high.

Nettes Hotel direkt an einem Kreisel

Habe das Hotel während einer Geschäftsreise genutzt. Das Hotel war sauber und ganz nett. Durch die direkte Straßenlage, sollte man ein Zimmer in Richtung angrenzendem kleinen Park versuchen zu bekommen, da es sonst sehr laut werden kann. Das Frühstück war typisch französisch. 1 Croissant, 3 kleine Scheiben Baguette und ein kleiner Keks, dazu Marmelade und etwas Käse und ein kleiner Obsalat. Einchecken musste man per Code, den das Hotel einem in einer Email mitteilt. Diesen Code gibt man neben der Tür ein und ein kleines Fach mit dem Zimmerschlüssel öffnet sich. Die Zimmer haben keine Nummern sondern Farben, die entsprechend auf den Zimmerschlüsseln wiederzufinden sind. Alles in allem ein nette kleines Hotel mit leider typischen schweizer Preisen.

Fairly decent value compared to hotels in Geneva

Overall, good hotel, small, but good service. Around 20km (12 miles) from Geneva city centre, so a car is probably a must if you're staying here, as the location is a very small area (population of Crassier is 1,000), with no obvious links to the city.
