Cramond Bridge Hotels near Edinburgh

"Food and facilities were great. The poor review I'm giving is all related to housekeeping. When we arrived thd room was clean and nothing to say, next day it was only semi cleaned, beds were all messy, room not hoovered and coffee/tea not replenished, we decided to not say anything, giving the benefit of the doubt. Next day, we left in the morning, leaving the hanging paper to clean the room on the door but when came back at 4.30pm the room was not done. They forgot to clean it...after this, we just asked for fresh towels and toilet rolls, there was no point anymore. All in all good hotel with great facilities but just lack of supervision in housekeeping in my opinion."

"Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent from the front desk to bar staff, very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was lovely. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel, would definitely stay here again especially with the great location to the city centre "

"There is no point in having climate control in the room if the recommendation is to open the window if the room is too warm. I don't expect to pay £109 to hear traffic noise. With the exception of a Scottish lady who checked me in, most of the staff seem to find it more convenient to ignore the customer. What is on offer, accomm and food is worth 50% of the prices "

"This was a wonderful hotel that’s within walking distance of the main road, Princes Street, and other Edinburgh attractions. The hotel was clean, the staff nice and helpful, has a full service restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were very spacious which we didn’t expect living in other Yotels before, a nice surprise! And it was comfortable with great amenities. Recommended!"

"clean. good rooms services. good location. overall overpriced. for a four star hotel that should have a hair conditioner and towels in the bathrooms as standard. Receptionist seemed anxious type and super worried repeating that we might take adapters with us and it made me smile after a while she was like a guard dog to get you. My booking was not the room I ordered it was downgraded to a smaller in a kind of basement with demolition work and sounds because overbookings and on top of it we were forced to split up the family and book extra single room which we never used. So if you see rooms with double beds and sofa beds in this hotel- do not believe that it is there at all. there is a risk that you will be put in a smaller room and will be forced to buy another single room on just like us. I think if I knew all of this details, I will be checking into Radisson blue instead as safter choice what you get. "

"Fabulous hotel! My only complaint is there were no drawers—just two shelves in one of the closets. This seems to be a general trend in hotels. Maybe bureaus are considered old-fashioned? Other than that small quibble the place was wonderful. We had a fifth floor castle view room with a (very comfortable) bed. Staff, pool, breakfast all excellent."

"Amazing location and great rooms! Love the pods system so you can get some private space and not disturb others as much. Looked like they had fun activities and a good vibe but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to check them out. The location right in Old Town cannot be beat!"
