"It’s a nice traditional hotel with friendly staff. Bedroom felt dated and there was no mini-fridge for the milk but bathroom had been modernised and was much better. Extensive Beautiful gardens in bloom with many flowers so it was very strange none of them had been cut for inside vases on tables - in the arrival lobby there are unattractive tired dried flower arrangements which don’t set the scene well! Nice touch to have morning coffee in warming pots and takeaway cups available in the lobby Very good breakfast. A comfortable stay but not worth £500 a night!"
