"The breakfast was delish, the fresh fruit cup was a hit, we went back a second time. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Love the history and charm of the place."
"Parking was easy. There were enough luggage carts. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. Free coffee 24 hrs. Clean public areas and clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Plenty of plugs and USB outlets. We had breakfast on two mornings and besides oatmeal with a dozen toppings, two kinds of self-serve waffles in two sizes, four kinds of juice, cereal, bread, toast and bakery treats, the eggs were an omelet one day and scrambled the next. Breakfast meats were sausage links one day and bacon the next. All very good. Pleasant seating too. Even the cleaning staff were friendly. Overall very nice experience."

After a long day on the road, this Clarion Pointe hotel was just what i needed: a nice quiet room, a VERY comfortable bed, and a good breakfast in the morning. Check-in was a breeze, I was in my room in minutes. The room was not spacious, but clean and roomy enough, with a deep chair to sink into and a good, cold minifridge in which I could store my road goodies for the next day. And the bed let me enjoy a great night's sleep. The bathroom was not big either, but namesake and the fields were plump and soft. There were numerous food options nearby, but a short (2.5 miles) drive to downtown Staunton led to many more. And breakfast in the morning was superb. I'm all about a fresh waffle, but there were many other hot options as well: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits ( and gravy), cereals, yogurt, fruit, bagels, danish. the staff I noted were very attentive, keeping the room clean and stocked. And one final, nice touch: shortly after check in, there was a platter of fresh-baked cookies in the lobby. Very friendly place, I'll be back.

"Remodel was done as cheap as possible and it showed. Staff while not unfriendly, but not friendly. They didn’t feel approachable. Not a bad stay, but I wouldn’t go back either. "
"Driveway was bumpy and horrible. Had a hard time sleeping, the lights outside were way to bright, hard a room darkening blind but the light shines in around it, could walk around the room without turn the lights on at night. Also it took 10-15 minutes before the water got hot to take a shower, was starting to think they had no hot water."
