"The resort itself is ok averge for most things. However, the beds are very stiff, and it's impossible to get decent sleep. We went with a group of 6 people, between four rooms. Our rooms were all on different floors and everyone had the same compliant about the beds. Wifi rarely worked, and if it did, it was incredibly slow. Honestly, we gave up and didn’t connect to it most of our 10-day stay. The food was ok but was the same things pretty much every day. There is no refrigerator in your rooms, so bringing anything back to the hotel rooms was difficult. Especially if you wanted to keep drinks cold. The AC didn't work in our room, but our friends' rooms did. The staff are friendly but more approachable depending on how well you tip. Overall, we don't regret staying there but personally would not stay there again. "

"You can get an inexpensive stay and is nice if you have a larger party especially with kids. The food, however, is horrible and please say expect to pay to eat elsewhere off the resort. Breakfast can maybe pass but lunch and dinner is not great. The staff are nice mostly, but if you eat at the pool area they tend to ignore you if you are a person of color. Not really sure why?? It happened to me repeatedly. The pool is nice. The rooms are dated there is no wifi outside of the lobby. You can drink all you want but it is not top shelf. Overall 3 out of 5 stars for being available as some may only be able to afford these type of accommodations to see the world. As for me, I will not return. "

"Don’t expect good customer service at this resort. Check in and restaurant reservations are very unorganized. People jumping in front of others that have been waiting. DO NOT RESERVE THE ROMANTIC DINNER ON THE BEACH! It was a disaster. During our dinner the Lights shut off (then we were attacked by swarms of bugs in our food) and we had to finish it in the restaurant. It was suppose to be romantic and just us but we finished with others and subjected to crying babies and cold lobster and steak. Resort didn’t offer anything or even a discount. IT WAS A DISASTER! Fan and AC in the room did not work. I would not recommend this resort. "

"Property is clean and staff was very pleasant. Excellent breakfast included! Elevator is small, and only if there were more than 5 people it wouldn’t go due to weight restriction. Building has some maintenance issues with stucco and dripping water, but most places in Mexico do! "

"We stayed there for a week with our friends and that was a good thing we were with friends as there was very little entertainment and in the evening your option was get drunk or read a book. Twice 2 restaurants at a time were closed for dinner and that created long wait to get food. Staff was nice and helpful, rooms are spacious however outdated, internet was good in the lobby but scatchy in the room the best part was the beach clean of seaweed and we could snorkel right off the beach."

"Everything was wonderful. We always enjoy our stay at the Plaza. Gilberto and Amelia are wonderful and very accommodating. We ate out and had food delivered - everything was perfect!"

"Everything was great and the views were too. Wish the beach was a little bigger where it is. Maybe finding a way to open those rocks formation. Food was good and only 10 bucks to get to shopping via taxi. "
