"The room was very clean!"

"What I did not like was Staybridge charged me $11.76 more than Expedia quoted. When I called Staybridge to inquire, they told me to contact Expedia who in turn said they needed to contact Staybridge. I also needed to send a photo of the charge on my credit card. Expedia then responded with an email that Staybridge had charged the correct amount. Two hours later I received an email again from Expedia that Staybridge had processed a refund on my credit card. When I checked my card, there was no refund. I again emailed Expedia who responded that the refund can take 7-10 business days. So now I wait for a refund. This has taken a lot of my time and I would have expected some form of additional compensation for all the trouble I went through but none was offered. Normally, Expedia has always offered great service, but this was disappointing. I am not sure who was responsible for this mistake, Staybridge or Expedia. The hotel was very nice, the staff were friendly, with the exception of stains on the arms of the couch, the room was clean and the breakfast was great."

"First impression….UhOh! pot-holed gravel parking area!!…NOTHING in any of 4or 5 outdoor planters…no signage to signify entrance…or Welcome to Best Western!!! Building in need of refreshing paint or siding… Had to track down housekeeping for towels and bath mat on our arrival. Next day proper towel exchange and garbages emptied and Keurig supplies refreshed…next day…garbage not emptied and no fresh towels etc! Staff pleasant..room rug filthy,. Not Intentionally trying to be unkind but, I have enjoyed Best Western Hotels on many visits but Fergus Best Western Plus, was a disappointment for us! Required full payment on arrival! Did not live up to expectations. Website stated ‘hot breakfast’ till 9:30am——changed to 9:00am. Little corners cut…Hotels are costly at best …and disappointment in many areas…makes it worse. I don’t think they live up to Best Western’s name….don’t believe I’ll ever return….No hint of Welcome!!!"

"It was a nice hotel but my only complaint was the breakfast area was not keep clean and the elevator needed a good cleaning on the walls and floor. "

"I would not recommend this hotel at all. The beds were so hard we could not sleep. It felt like we were laying on rocks. Then there is a $200 deposit they hold which is almost the same price as the room. You don’t get that back for about five days. All in all not impressed"
