"An amazing & lovely place to stay with a great view and would do so again! Had some hiccups getting checked inn due to a minor tech issue causing manually written paperwork being needed which that caused a backup in the office. Room interiors where dated in there styling but clean & well maintained. Only issue I had was the mini refrigerator, the frizor was backed with frost obstructing the sensor so the main fridge wasn't cooling properly. Did bring it up when checking out and saw the friendly staff immediately recording the issue to solve it. Only other wish would be to see taller toilets they felt extremely low & small to me. Despite this I would book again!"
"This charming 100+ year old inn has so much to offer the traveler: An inviting front porch, rear deck, and comfy parlor for hanging out, antique furnished bedrooms with modern private baths, fast wi-fi, and an included extensive continental breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the towels fluffy. Every area of the inn is extremely well maintained and clean. Conveniently located in a walkable area close to shops and restaurants. The photos on their listing are 100% current and accurate.
Surrounded by the West Virginia mountains, and a block from the Greenbrier River Trail, it was perfect for these e-bike enthusiasts. The inn is set up to meet the special needs of all types of bikers by offering covered parking for motorcycles and a covered, secured area for bicycles that can accommodate e-bike charging.
The innkeepers are great. They do not live on site but have things very well organized and labeled so it was easy to find what you might need."
"The hotel was clean and mostly well maintained. It was a quiet and comfortable place to rest and sleep. The breakfast was a relatively good quality for the level hotel with the capability to make your own waffles with the option of using Maple syrup. Ok sausages and scrambled eggs. The only thing missing at the breakfast was some fresh fruit: bananas or apples.
The only issue with the “property” is some of the back/side doors to the hotel wings did not work properly. After I reported it the first day they brought in a mechanic. You could easily see they had worked on the door but unfortunately it was worse."
"The trip was ok! We were not aware that the onsite restaurant would be closed for the first two days of our trip! We would have brought much more food from home. The cabin and furniture needs some repairs! Simple! Folks were nice and helpful. River was low but beautiful!"
