Top Cowal Hotel Reviews
Golden Jubilee Hotel
8/10 Good
"We booked a 1 night stay as we had an early flight from Glasgow Airport. Checking in at 8.40pm and staying for less than 8 hours gave us no time to enjoy the facilities. However the restaurant staff were so helpful in ensuring we could dine before last orders at 9pm. The food was tasty and service was swift. Our waitress was so friendly (sorry don’t recall her name). Our bedroom was spacious, but did have a damp smell which was a little off putting. At only £79 it was great value for money though. Please ensure you park in the Hotel car park. We initially parked in the Hospital car park and it was a fair hike to Reception."
Stonefield Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was the highlight of our vacation. It was absolutely stunning. From our room to the beautiful castle grounds. Highly recommend. 10/10"
Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort, WorldHotels Distinctive
10/10 Excellent
"Clean nice restaurant"
Loch Fyne Hotel And Spa
8/10 Good
"Room clean, staff attentive great breakfast . Two minor points - a spinner or similar in the swim change area would be a vast improvement and sausage in the Scottish Breakfast was the wrong shape - should be square!"
Cameron House on Loch Lomond
10/10 Excellent
"The room was fabulous with a big comfortable bed. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. We were travelling with our dog so couldn’t eat breakfast in the main restaurant but we ate in the tavern instead which was lovely and quiet. We could pick from their menu or order anything from the main restaurant including the buffet too. In the evenings we ate in La Vista and again took our dog, the first was great and again we were well looked after. My only negative would be the cost of bringing our dog at £50 per night which is very high compared to other hotels on our trip and the very long dog policy we needed to sign on arrival which we’ve never come across before. As responsible dog owners we always clean up after our dog and would expect to pay extra in the unlikely event of damage."
Ingliston Country Club Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good location - reasonably handy for the airport"
The Tarbet Hotel
8/10 Good
"Vegetarian food at the restaurant was lacklustre, however the staff were helpful and beds comfortable."
Arrochar Hotel
8/10 Good
"The rooms are looking a little tired, but everything worked, the beds were clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent."
Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort

"Would have liked a sea view room."
