"Staff was friendly but sometimes difficult to find, not always at the front desk - it felt like the front desk was asked to be the front desk, PM housekeeping, bar tenders and all other staff at the same time. Room was clean. Housekeeping is by request only if you’re there multiple nights. Parking is good. Breakfast is nice. Water pressure is absolutely awful "

"So I actually stayed here for about 7/8 weeks I believe. Jan to mar 2026 when I move here recently. Had everything I needed and more than the previous numerous hotels I’d stayed in at a cheaper cost. Had a nice small kitchen, place was clean, heating/ac worked fine. I’ll honestly have fond memories of my time here while I settled in to the city before getting my apartment. The staff were really nice and helpful in any way they could be. I managed through those weeks without a car at that time also and it was useful to have some nearby things like gas station, places to eat at walkable distance and also a bus stop close by, which is only a few minutes walk if you cut through the hotel next door. This hotel was basically my first home after moving to Des Moines. If I have friends or family visit from the uk I’ll happily suggest this place to them. "

"The TV did not work. The clerk was up to our room three times to fix it. and we watched it for a little while and it would go off again. The toilet was to low not a 15 inch one."

"The rooms were extremely clean, the staff were outstandingly amazing, the breakfast every morning felt like home cooking and tasted just like it to, and the pool area was perfect for children and adults! Overall 10/10 love this place!"

"After finally figuring out how to get to the hotel, it was acceptable. The room was fairly small, but the bed was comfortable, and wifi worked well. The room did have a large bathtub that was really nice, and the towels were better quality than expected. A decent value accommodation."

"The breakfast was not necessarily fresh but did the job, Would benefit from a 6-10 am breakfast. Shower was stained. Parking was open and safe. Easy location. "

"Clean room, towels weren't stocked, and you have to take your trash out to the dumpster or they will charge you $50. Also a 2 page sheet of 'rules' to read. Front desk person was super unfriendly. Good for a quick cheap stay but don't expect much. "
