"The room and especially the bathroom were very outdated. The TV wasn’t working. Third floor with no elevator. Breakfast starts at 8AM. I had to catch a ferry to the Aeolian islands at 7AM so I couldn’t take advantage of it the first day. Also no coffee machine or refrigerator in the room. Only one vending machine in the building with no coffee. Despite everything, the view of Stromboli from my room was priceless! "

"We booked into Residence Pietre Bianche for 4 nights and so glad we did. Our apartment was on the top floor (2nd floor) and had amazing views over the water especially the magnificent sunsets. We were very comfortable a large comfortable double bed and a single fold out sofa bed. We didn’t bother cooking as we opted for half board at the fabulous onsite Me Restaurant. Food was really good. "Popilia was an incredible place to stay. Eveything about the resort is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and was always very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately kept. The grounds are also meticulously maintianed. The pools is huge and makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. The restaurant is also very good. If i had to give one criticism it would be to have a wider selection of food options for lunch or dinner. Otherwise 10 out of 10!!"
