"Grosse maison perdue dans la campagne qui a été une superbe découverte. Nous avions un magnifique appartement qui donnait sur une belle piscine magnifiquement entretenue. "Very nice stay, immediate holiday feeling, friendly welcoming, staff takes good care of everything and owners are present all day. Nice swimming pool, cosy tiny houses (cottages) with all comfort. A few kilometres from Marina de Grossetto - to walk there makes rather sense when teh Bagno operation starts mid June. Good stay for relaxing and enjoying the very well done italian/tuscany meals in the evening, no need to go elsewhere for dinner. Taste the housewine - selfmade by owner!"

"Il plus sicuramente la pulizia della camera, veramente impeccabile, anche il bagno e la doccia davvero ottimi. "The hotel is in a fabulous location to explore the beach area, the old town and all that is on offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. We had a balcony with a view and a place to dry our towels outside. Breakfast had a lot of choices - sweet and savoury. Very satisfying and again, nothing was too much for the staff. They were lovely. I would definitely stay again."

"Wonderful location. Everything in Maremma is so close to Orbetello and Hotel Sole is in the center of it. We had a beautiful view overlooking the piazza with the lagoon in the back. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and cold to get away from the summer heat. The hotel staff was so warm and welcoming and helpful during our stay, they even recommended a local driver who was fantastic. We still talk about the delicious cappuccinos that were made for us in the morning. Highly recommend!"

"Somehow I missed that this was a camp ground when I was booking. However, if I was expecting camping, it would be great. It is well shaded right by a beautiful beach. The pool was smaller than expect, but I enjoyed the water aerobic class in the evening. We had a superior tent. It was stifling hot inside when we arrived. It took some time to cool off. The cooling system was not great. The staff were very pleasant. There was a great outdoor cooking area. Overall, I would command this place for a camping getaway."

"Gorgeous, historic hotel, room was spacious with very high ceilings. Breakfast was delicious too. It was a little loud outside at night but obviously nothing the hotel can do about that and it wasn't really a problem for me. Great location, kind and helpful staff. I'd happily stay here again, for the price I paid it was very worth it."
