"This was a perfect stay for our first night in Italy! Easy walk from the train. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved everything about our room. Very quiet and had an excellent night’s sleep. Breakfast buffet hit the spot! I would definitely come back again!"

"Nice hot tub, busy hotel with lots of kids. Good breakfast included. Disappointed the sports stations didn’t work as we were trying to watch some Olympic hockey games. Good location -lots of amenities in the area. "

"I have never left a review for a place that I have stayed. Ever. But our stay at Ostello del Castello in Tirano was so fantastic that a positive review was necessary. The owner, Andrea, ensured our stay was perfect. His family property is a seven centuries old modern renovation. Our room was clean, comfortable and secure. Breakfast was delicious: meat and cheese plates, pasties, yogurt, granola, breads, fruits, coffees and juices. The location is an 8 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. This location is perfect as a home base: within an hour you could be at Lake Como or multiple ski areas. You can ride the UNESCO listed Bernina Express to Switzerland right in Tirano. I can't say enough good things about Andrea and Ostello del Castello. Stay here. You won't be disappointed!"
