"GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily. The very best thing about it is the young, friendly and efficient staff! They couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and they made us feel warmly welcome."

"Our room was big and cool through the good air conditioner but the hotel itself was very old, also our shower and the metal parts of it were loose and fell on our first day. We told it immediately to the hotel owner but only after contacting Expedia it was fixed by the staff. Also the bed was made only one time of the week and our towels were not changed throughout the whole stay. The breakfast choice was very small.
