"LOVELY stay all around. AMAZING views, AMAZING FOOD. The trout was phenomenal. We loved just about everything. My ONLY caveat was asking for a small cheese platter to go along with some wine and it was priced a bit too high. The service, the staff, the place all get an A+. We’d love to come back."

"Beautiful views. Spacious lobby/breakfast area with large windows opens up to large terrace. Rooms a little dated, but comfortable bedding and functional bathroom with shower/tub. Excellent housekeeping. Breakfast was good, but selection limited. Gravel road up to property from highway is steep and a bit challenging. "

"Overall, the hotel is a nice place. However a neighboring business plays loud drum music all night (literally until 7am). Occurs every night and makes it impossible to sleep. Surprised that a hotel that is so pricey doesn’t include breakfast. When I asked, they told me I was cheap and didn’t pay for breakfast (literally using those insulting words) although that wasn’t an option when I booked. Finally, WiFi is very slow (< 5mb). Nice enough place but not worth the premium price. Angostura isn’t that great either. "

"The property is in an excellent location .. from the room you get a view of the lake and mountain .. the staff went out of their way to serve the guest .. spa was excellent .. food can improve "
