A short walk south of El Nido you'll find Corong Corong beach. In many places in the world this would be the best beach for miles around and packed with tourists. In Palawan however it's one of the poorer choices and pretty empty.

"The staff was very accomodating with our requests and informative with activities we can do around the resort. The place was very quiet and was able to provide me with a much needed break from a busy life. The views were amazing. All in all, it was an amazing experience made easier by their staff. As this is an "off-grid" stay out in the outbacks of Palawan, a bit of dust and dirt everywhere is expected. But the staff made efforts to provide us with anything we needed to stay comfortable. "
