"Room was clean and comfy with great pool view. Staff was ok, not the best. Pool was mostly clean. Overall an solid 8.5 out of 10. Lots of things to do and lots of restaurants. Food was a good. Entertainment was excellent. The staff need more training on how to be more customer focus or maybe the company need to appreciate them more. With all that said, I had a great time. Would go back."

Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle - All Inclusive

"Fantastic entertainment team and good food. Staff were mostly helpful, the hotel was clean, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. The water slides are great and the buffet was excellent, especially at breakfast. No problem getting reservations at the other restaurants- steak house is great others are average. The beach is nice, although we found it even better if you walk a few minutes away from the hotel. Unfortunately, I can’t give 5 stars because of some of the day pass and weekend guests. Large groups would arrive and be extremely loud and disruptive, with shouting, screaming, twerking and excessive drunken behaviour around the pool areas. On one occasion, a guest was sick in the pool, resulting in its closure. On a separate occasion, another intoxicated guest had to be taken away from the pool area in a wheelchair. This was particularly noticeable at weekends and did affect the atmosphere. We missed the foam party because the pool had to be closed after someone was sick in it. Our flight was delayed by an hour, but the transfer provider would not adjust our return transfer time. This left us with the choice of arriving at the airport around five hours early or paying $70 for a taxi. Be careful with your wristband- I was initially charged $250 when mine was lost, although this was later waived after I complained. Overall, there is a lot to like about the hotel, but the weekend atmosphere and transfer issue prevented this from being a 5-star experience."

"Oh, the Azul! This resort is an absolute stunner, a true tropical paradise that offered us so many moments of pure joy. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the front desk staff made us feel incredibly welcome, their warm greetings and accommodating nature setting a fantastic tone for our stay. Our room? Immaculate! And the view from our balcony was simply breathtaking, a postcard-perfect panorama of the island's natural beauty. The vibrant energy of the bar staff near the entrance was infectious – always ready with a smile and a friendly chat. However, a slight dip in the otherwise stellar service occurred with the bar staff by the restaurant where breakfast was served. It felt a bit disheartening when they'd engross themselves in their own conversations, leaving us waiting a little longer than expected. On a brighter note, the security team patrolling the beach were absolute legends, super cool and always ensuring our peace of mind. And the breakfast servers? Genuinely friendly and attentive, adding a lovely start to our mornings. We were also promised a meeting with a resort representative to discuss our stay and receive a $100 credit, a perk we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, this meeting never materialized, and to our surprise, there was no follow-up or apology offered. "I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience I had during my recent stay at Excellence Oyster Bay. From the moment I arrived and was greeted with a glass of champagne, I felt welcomed into a world of top-tier luxury. Being told not to worry about my luggage because guest services would take care of everything set the tone for a truly relaxing getaway—my only responsibility was to unwind and enjoy the incredible hospitality. The level of service exceeded all my expectations. Chanice at the front desk made a wonderful impression, ensuring every detail was handled with care. Erick, one of the bartenders in the theatre, brought genuine warmth and professionalism to every interaction. In fact, every staff member I encountered was amazing, always ready to assist with a smile and making me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Travellers Beach Resort

"I had the best 5-day vacation at the Travelers Beach Resort! It was UNIQUE! The resort is right on the beach. We were within walking distance of everything. We felt safe walking to the stores on the street. Our cross guard at the hotel ensured our safety. I have never stayed at any resort where ALL the staff were excellent! Everyone, from the front desk staff to the grounds men, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and so were the libations!😉 A big shout-out to our bartenders Romeo, Alex, and Ricky; they are the original mixologists. Another huge shout-out to our chefs for the delicious meal😋, and our waitress Kareen, and the others, I may have forgotten their names. Thank you, Andre, for making the rounds to check on your guest.😉 Our scuba diving instructor was amazing! Very patient! 😁We had such an amazing time, we started planning our next vacation before we left to return home. We hope to see all the same staff whenever we return. 💯 I recommend Travelers Beach Resort to anyone looking for a home away from home and wants to make or add family or friends. Our room was clean, smelled beautiful, and the bed was comfortable!!!🧡 ❤️💞💯"
