"Enjoyed my 1-night solo stay at Next House! Great value for my 14hr layover in Copenhagen. Easy to get to from the airport via the 5C bus (stops right outside Next House). Check-in/check-out was smooth, main area was very social and lively, the women's dorm was modern and quiet, bed was comfortable and clean (pod style), towel was provided, and the area was safe. Brought my own lock to use when storing my backpack within the dorm room (otherwise guests have to pay for one). Would stay again!"
"Good basic hotel in a great location. Was disappointed that there was no kettle in the room and no complimentary tea/coffee. The drain in the shower was very slow and water pooled on the bathroom floor. Those things aside, the room was clean and comfortable."
"Wanted somewhere clean, comfortable and with a private bathroom, for an overnight trip. This ticked all the boxes.
Only downside was check in. Lots of reception desks and staff but when I couldn't find my reservation number because my phone wasn't working I was abruptly told to go and use the self service check in desks instead. "
"The location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from Tivoli Gardens, 7 from the train station and maybe 7 or 8 to the waterside.
The hotel is a budget, no frills option and you get what you pay for.
The rooms are small, the bed is against a wall on one side so a bit of a pain to get in and out of. The bathroom is a wet room so be prepared for that. The shower was hot but not powerful so having a shower was functional, not invigorating.
Breakfast was ok. Processed cheese slices and cold meats, hot option was chicken meatballs, scrambled eggs and roasti potatoes. Not great but edible.
I don't eat pastries but the selection of breads and pastries looked pretty good to my untrained eye.
Overall, I would say for 3 night city break its a pretty good option if you just want somewhere to sleep but if you want to stay longer or have a few frills like a decent shower or a bar you might want to try somewhere else."
"Great place to stay in Copenhagen. Right next to a metro station and right in the middle of the city! Hotel was clean and functional. Would stay here again."
"The curtains don't completely blank light out. An issue in the summer. Also, they charge for lockers to store luggage in 4 hour quanta, so may be even more expensive if you have a late flight."
