Convenient location. With a nice indoor pool but water is a bit cold. Small rooms and will be very noisy at night if the window is facing the main road. The beds and pillow are too soft to me.

Great stay while waiting for baby

We checked in to the Scandic because it was across the street from the hospital where our daughter was to have her baby. The room was excellent will comfy beds. The food was good and the service was great. They even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate the baby's birth!

Hotel lies at quite a noisy through road. Staff was very friendly & polite. However, three major negative aspects A) I found a former guest‘s documents on a shelf => inadequate cleaning B) Time for ordering (sic!) dinner exceeded 20 min due to a lack of staff C) the pool was ice-cold

My experience was very good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was delicious with a wide array of options. I ate dinner at the restaurant one night, and had an excellent meal. I slept in a room with two twin beds, and I did find them to be more narrow than what I expected, which is why I did 4 vs 5 stars.

Hotel was adequate, very clean, staff were very attentive and helpful, we had one evening meal which was good, room was small and cramped for 3 people. Bed was comfortable. The expensive bar was closed all day Saturday and Sunday during our visit so winding down had to be done in the city which is 20 mins away by bus.

Avoid to stay there

The only thing as a four star hotel (as they are defined) was the price. Otherwise poor standard of the room, worn and not equipped as a modern room should be. Cleaning also poor. Breakfast was OK but not so much to choice between. When checking out they could not present an invoice that everything was paid and balance 0 (as you always get on a hotel according to international standard).

The hotel is in the middle of a highway so there are not a lot of shops or restaurants around. The also close their restaurants on the weekends so if you want to eat something the closest thing is the MacDonald's across the street. Buses to the city center are available but takes about 30 minutes to get there. Hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were quite modern and comfortable. For some reason the ventilation in our room was not the best and every hour or so there was a smell of sewer. Unfortunately did not get to use the pool but the sauna was quite nice. At night time it's not too busy so I had it all to myself. The breakfast buffet was amazing and hands down one of the best buffets I have had. Good stay if you don't mind being away from the city center.

We are frequent travellers in the Nordics. This was - by far - the worst hotel experience in Denmark so far. Worn-out interior, unfriendly staff, limited dining options. But above all: the (family) room was like a sauna! We checked-in around 16h00 went to bed around 21h00 and the kids woke up soaking wet because of the warmth. It was 31 degrees inside. We checked-out around 23h00 as the rception staff was very customer unfriendly. First time in our travel history that we checked-out prematurely...

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Der Bus ins Stadtzentrum fährt in der Nähe. Parkplatz kostenlos. Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Fugen in unserem Bad waren leider schimmlig. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.

This hotel is conveniently located, clean and of a high standard. The breakfast had a great selection of items, including lactose free products. Some areas of breakfast hygiene could be improved - we saw a child licking the Nutella spoon and putting it back into the Nutella bowl on the counter and we told a staff member who did not replace the spoon but just shrugged her shoulders. The hotel has a small gym and a rather cold swimming pool. It had good amenities including plenty of towels. There is also a children’s play area outside and small playroom inside which are great for families. The lack of air conditioning lets this property down and therefore we could not give it 5 stars.
