"Compared with hotels in Asia, the amenities here are relatively basic, as slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided. My only other observation is that the bathroom is not completely sealed off from the room, unlike what you typically find in hotels in Asia. As a result, sounds from the bathroom can be heard quite clearly in the room, which can be slightly uncomfortable. Also the position where the shower head located is not ideal. I wet the whole floor on my first shower!"

"The hotel is nice, clean, and located in a quiet area. The price was very reasonable, and there is also car parking available at the hotel. It’s in a great location between Florence and Pisa, so we stayed there as a halfway point during our trip. The owner, Elena, and her brother are very nice and welcoming. They even helped us with a late-night check-in after 10 PM, which we really appreciated. Note for future guests: Regular check-in is between 2 PM and 8 PM. If you expect to arrive after 8 PM, please contact the hotel in advance and provide your booking details. They can leave your room key/card outside the hotel and give you the access code over the phone. When you arrive, you can simply take the card, enter your room, and pay the next morning before leaving. If you are traveling to Italy from another country, it’s always a good idea to carry your passport with you when checking into hotels. In our case, the hotel accepted our Canadian ID and did not ask us for our passports, but I would still recommend carrying your passport while traveling. Overall, we had a very pleasant and amazing stay. Thank you, Elena, and your brother, for all your help and hospitality. We really appreciate everything you did for us!"
