One thing I’ve realized after 2 weeks in Sicily is that the norm is for the hosts not to be present, so if you want more privacy and freedom that’s good. If you need lots of assistance might not be so good. But that’s been overall all over the islands. But when I arrived I had to call them and wait 5-10 minutes for them to arrive. In my experience also almost no English was spoken, but we managed to communicate and make things happen, and that was enough for me. I also enjoyed the privacy. There’s no breakfast included or available to purchase, you have to make your own arrangements. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. They welcomed us with a cold drink and seated us in the pretty patio while they got our rooms ready (earlier than expected). The pool was lovely and the rooms were cute, very clean, and had shutters on the outside. It was a 10 minute walk into the heart of town. Breakfast was very good. So much better than the photos led us to expect!"

"This is a lovely hotel on a hill overlooking the town and castle of Lipari. Our room was comfortable and we had an outdoor seating area with a gorgeous view. The available breakfast option was well worth the money. "
