"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. "This was a very clean, modern hotel situated in central Newcastle, very close to restaurants, entertainment, shopping and about a 12–15 minute walk from Newcastle University. We were dropping our daughter off at the university and this hotel fit the bill. I would definitely recommend it to others and would stay here again when back in Newcastle."
