"For a two-night stay in Clifden, this property offered a convenient and comfortable base overall. The check-in process is self-service, which was a little confusing at first, but the host is available by phone if needed.
The room was on the smaller side and a bit dated, and while the bed was adequate for a short stay, it wasn’t the most comfortable. There’s also a wine bar on the ground floor which is associated with the same owner, which appeared to be under renovation during our visit. Breakfast was available for purchase, though we ended up opting for nearby cafés instead.
That said, the location is a real highlight—right in the centre of town and within easy walking distance of shops, pubs, cafés, and grocery stores. Parking was also straightforward, with no fees after 6pm, which made things very convenient. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay if you’re prioritising location."
