"Our stay was great the housekeeping staff was professional and helpful for any needs! The front desk staff was super nice, welcoming, and helpful! The entire hotel including the pool was clean and my grandkids loved the pool!! The breakfast was great! (Nice to not have to cook!) brought my moms dog and the staff was so kind and nice to him! Just a great experience!!!"

"We stayed here for one night while on our East Coast trip. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the room itself was very nice. The beds were comfy and it was quiet. The ladies that worked there were WONDERFUL and so helpful. It was a perfect one night place to go. It was close to the Shenandoah mountains, where we hiked the next day. Highly recommend."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. While the rooms are not particularly fancy, they are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. We found the on-site restaurant to be a great addition with reasonably priced food and very attentive, helpful staff. However, there are a few things future guests should keep in mind regarding late-night amenities. The restaurant closes quite early, and there are no vending machines or microwaves available for guest use. This meant that when we returned from exploring, we had to drive back into town for dinner, which was challenging du"

"I was pleasantly surprised for our stay. We would have stayed another night if we didn't have a time issue. Everything was SUPER clean, it was old, but taken care of. The property manager (owner?) was so super nice and welcoming. There are even chairs to sit on in front of your room so you can enjoy the night time. If you are in Luray and need a place to stay I would definitely give The Cardinal Inn a thumbs up."
