"Only 8 Umbrellas for the entire pool. None for the lounge chairs. The hydraulic door closer was shot so our door was extremely heavy to open. The balcony barrier was broken on top and shuddered loudly all night when it was windy. The bedding was nice, the room was clean and modern, the pool is lovely and the location is perfect. Plenty of safe parking and nice employees. Nancy at the desk was great. Another desk clerk wore so much cologne the whole lobby stunk. Good burgers at the restaurant."

"This is a beautiful resort. We had a few issues with internet not working, tv not working and ice maker not working but the maintenance staff took care of it right away. Would stay here again if I ever go back to Daytona"

"This review will probably surprise some people because the other reviews were actually very good, which is exactly why we booked it. Still, when you first pull up to the property, you honestly wonder if you made a huge mistake. The outside is definitely not impressive and, at first glance, a little intimidating. That said, once we got inside, our opinion completely changed. The rooms were great. Our Queen Deluxe room had recently been remodeled and included a full kitchen, not just a kitchenette. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fabulous, and there were plenty of extra towels, blankets, and pillows already stocked in the room. Check-in was more similar to a VRBO or Airbnb setup than a traditional hotel, which actually worked out just fine. One thing we appreciated was that if you smoke, there were two chairs and an ashtray set up outside along the walkway. It was clear they preferred people use those instead of tossing cigarette butts around the property, which we respected. We are an older couple, and our neighbors were as well, so we ended up sitting outside in the evenings having drinks and talking together, which made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The “beach view” from the reviews was not exactly what we pictured, but the beach was directly across the street with an open lot between, so you could still see the sunrise over the ocean perfectly. "Since the wrong night got booked instead of the one we wanted!!! We have no way of knowing how the property, staff, pool, or other amenities were. We wanted Saturday May 16-17 instead May 15-16 got booked and no one would help sort it out so we ended up having to book another hotel therefore having to pay twice. I am not impressed. Our cruise ended on the 16 and being the cautious that I am I check everything at least three times before confirming. So imagine my surprise and embarrassment when I got turned away"
